A good addition to the series but not my favorite
I have to say I really struggled with this book. Im going to give it a 3.5 out of 5 because I found it hard to connect with the Hero of the book. I feel like there were moments where I liked Domino and Nicola's relationship but there were other moments that really had me struggling to connect with the relationship. Domino is very much a alpha male protector but that line between being an alpha protector and being a controlling jerk was straddled a lot. Sometimes he fell on the protective alpha side and then other times he fell on the jerk side of the like.
Nicola was a great heroine because I really loved her vulnerability and her character growth over the course of the book. She really learned to come into her own and be her own savior in life.
This book throws a lot of twists and turns at the couple and they dont always handle them well but I would say if you read the first two books in the series this one is definitely worth the read. this story is very much about two people trying to navigate a variety of topics like love/lust, crime, betrayal,etc.. and i feel overall its a good story I just had a hard time connecting with the hero at times and had a hard time with some of the plot points but overall I would say worth the read but you should read the two other books in the series first to have a better understanding of what is going on.
His Jailbird
Riveting storyline that kept me intrigued throughout the entire book. Domino is a protector and was asked by his father to pick up Nicola from the detention center. Nicola has had an extremely rough life and has a very hot temper. Intense revelations, danger, revenge and so much more. I absolutely loved the HEA ending and thought the characters were fantastic.

His jailbird is such a gripping and amazing read! I thoroughly enjoyed every word as it took me into a world of fun sexy sweet steamy dark intriguing delight. Thank you for such a world KL
