Murder, mystery and romance!
It's been over 3 years since Kane Hollister walked out of Lauren Burke's life without saying goodbye. Now he's back and the explosive attraction is still there. Someone killed Lauren's soon to be ex-husband and now they're after her. Kane just happens to be one of the detectives on the case. Through many plot twists and turns, Lauren ends up in protective custody at Kane's home. Will that old fire re-ignite or is it too late? Will Kane ever let anyone love him completely or is the long ago death of his sister still too much for him to handle?
I loved it! This is an amazing suspenseful murder mystery with a scorching hot romance flowing straight through the middle. Great plot! You think you have it all figured out and then...PLOT TWIST! Clarissa Yip has an amazing writing style and I can't wait to see what's next.
