Publisher Description
Royal Duty. Mistaken Identity. Commoner Romance.
A commoner’s mistake puts a kingdom—and two hearts—on the line.
Molly believes life is meant to be explored, even the parts of a royal palace in Scotland that are very much closed to the public. When she’s mistaken for a world-famous painter and granted a private audience with the deliciously sexy Duke of Roxburghe, pretending to be someone else feels like harmless fun.
Callum doesn’t have time for games. Not when he’s got a country to serve and a legacy to uphold. Desire is a distraction he can’t afford. But when a free-spirited American slips past the palace guards and into his life, she somehow breaks through every wall he’s built around his heart.
Their attraction is undeniable.
Too passionate. Too dirty. Too dangerous.
Because loving Molly would mean choosing between his heart and his duty. And loving Callum would mean trusting a man whose life may never truly be his own.
Can a crown make room for love?
Or will Callum and Molly shatter royal tradition for a love greater than any royal title?
A sexy, emotionally charged royal romance about forbidden attraction, mistaken identity, and choosing love over duty.

Fairytales Do Come True
Molly is on the trip of a lifetime. She's fulfilling her and her mom's dream of traveling Europe to see all the famous works of art that have helped shape their works. During her last stop, she goes into a restricted area where's she's spotted by Mack. Mack mistakenly thinks she's Miss Rose, the artist who's there to paint the Duke's portrait. Molly knows she should tell truth of her identity, but once she meets the Duke....
Callum is the newly appointed Duke. He doesn't want to be the Duke and never thought he'd be in the position to be the Duke. With his father and brother's deaths, it falls to him. So he gives up his carefree, wreckless, playboy lifestyle to assume the role of the Duke. In doing so, he becomes someone he doesn't even recognize. Until Molly walks through the door. Callum knows she's not whom she claims to be, but he's intrigued by her. She "sees" him, the real him. It's refreshing, but scary at the same time. She lives life in color and he wants that for himself. He just doesn't know how to balance his duties of a Duke with living life as his true self. His mom makes things even worse. Consumed by grief, she doesn't accept Callum for the man he is. She tries to make him into his father or brother.
I truly enjoyed Callum and Molly's story. While opposites do attract, it's more important to live life as your true self. One cannot be truly happy if they're too busy being someone else. I loved Molly's quiet patience, color, and wisdom. She didn't come from a lot, but she was loved. It's that love that allowed her to enable Callum to be the Duke he was meant to be. Awesome story. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
Opposites really do attract!
Fun, sexy read, with witty dialogue and enough ups and downs to keep you interested. Molly is a wandering free spirit and Callum is trying to fit into his mother’s idea of a Duke. He never expected to inherit the title and responsibilities but fate had other ideas. She too is facing responsibilities she doesn’t want, but must face. The chemistry is there. Can they ignore it?
This is my honest review of this advance reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way
