The reader will find short stories for beginners. There are from the Spanish civil war (1936-1939), from the post-war period and transition from dictatorship to democracy.
 

How complex is the content?

The language is simple at first, with a limited vocabulary and short sentences. The maturity of the themes and the complexity of the grammar increase as the book progresses.

Where does the action take place?

Most stories happen in Madrid. The author tried to stick to actual events and to the geographical descriptions.

The author tried to make the stories more attractive to young foreign readers by introducing elements of fantasy.

Está diseñado como material complementario para estudiantes de Español en el extranjero. Está pensado para alumnos de bachillerato o equivalente, por ejemplo del Gymnasium en Alemania.
 

¿Qué contiene el libro?

En este volumen encontrarán relatos breves para principiantes, junto con una novela corta. También hay  reseñas históricas del siglo XX en España: escenas de la guerra civil (1936-1939), de la posguerra y de la transición de la dictadura franquista a la democracia.  

¿Hasta qué punto es asequible el contenido?

El nivel de dificultad del lenguaje y la madurez del contenido se va incrementando gradualmente. Los primeros relatos están escritos en presente de indicativo, con un vocabulario sencillo y frases cortas para una mejor comprensión.  También hay elementos relacionados con hechos históricos, quizá menos conocidos en el extranjero.

¿Dónde tienen lugar las historias?

En general, las escenas se desarrollan en Madrid. El autor ha intentado respetar la realidad histórica y geográfica de los relatos.
