History of The Saplings

The History of the Saplings tells the story of a society that has been wrought by conflict and oppression. Having obtained the technology to explore deep space, the Saplings' aristocratic leaders lead an effort to colonize a newly discovered world in hopes of harnessing its resources. Little did the leaders know that this new world would set off a chain of events that would endanger the very existence of the Sapling people. Optimism can prolong the fight, but is it always enough? Instead, will wit, character, and a little luck save the Sapling people from eradication? Chronicalizing over 500 years of history, the reader explores how a few influential Saplings managed to make a difference.
