Hit After Hit

A billionaire crook is elected President of the United States, and the First Lady is a former Playmate of the Year. The murder of the beautiful Secretary of the Treasury leads to the First Lady being charged with First Degree Murder. The presidents number two son, resentful for not getting his proper due, narrates the tale in a noirish yet humorous tone, and puts together pieces of a national conspiracy. 


JP Bloch writes novels in the alienist tradition—loners and anti-heroes who never fit in with the status quo. His books are often thrillers and mysteries, sometimes with humor or the supernatural thrown into the mix. But his main characters are people the reader identifies with, as all of us sometimes feel like we don't fit in, and that no one understands our pain.


He lives in Connecticut, where he is an indentured servant to his dog. JP writes on his king-size bed with the fan on. His hobbies include eating cashews while watching TV and overdosing on film noir favorites. He has a Ph.D in sociology.
