Hmong Country

The series ‘Vietnam Strong & Flexible’ consist of nine volumes composing a travelogue from the northern mountains to the Mekong delta. Together the books offer plenty of historical notes and eye-opening facts leading to strong opinions and observations on culture, religion, economy, politics and social issues. 


The second volume concentrates on the mountainous area in the North East where Hmong tribes live. The text and the 143 original pictures offer the reader a holistic view of the tribal way of life in this uncommon part of Vietnam. The beautiful scenery and the colorful attire of the local women form the background.
