My girl and I didn’t ask to be conscripted on an adventure with two shifter pirates, a masseuse, a demi-god, and a merman who think we’re on the menu, but here we are.
Maybe I should have taken the Ice Queen’s musical advice when I first arrived ?

Simply smashing
This is an amazing book. There is so much story. This is a prequel so, of course you are going to be lead into the main series and boy it that true here. The characters are amazing and while they are larger than life at times they suffer the same flaws and indignities that plague us all, it is done in such a way that it adheres the characters to your heart. The plot is beyond intense and twisty. I have some many questions and I am frothing at the mouth for the next book.
Loved it!
I really enjoyed this story, especially as the beginning to a new series. The characters are great and are interesting because we’ve seen them in various other stories and fairy tales. It’s only a little bit spicy to start with, but I can see the spice ramping up in subsequent books. I’m definitely looking forward to the next one!
Can’t Wait For More
This was an interesting read that quickly draws you in. It’s full of adventure, action, romance and everything you could think of. I’m fully immersed in this book and can’t wait to see more to come!
