Publisher Description
When three best friends decide to stretch their wings and revamp the local airport in small-town Haven, Georgia, the destination is laughter and love . . .
Jade McKenzie left her high-society family’s expectations behind when she came back to cozy Haven, and she’s never been happier. But what’s supposed to be a quick trip to Nashville for a cousin’s wedding turns into a disaster when one of the airport’s pilots offers to fly her there. One crash landing and a shared room later, and tattooed, bearded Cash Miller is standing in as her gorgeously unsuitable plus-one—and turning her on in ways she can’t deny. But a relationship? A real one? That’s definitely in the no-fly zone.
Vincent “Cash” Miller doesn’t have much in the world, but he does have pride—and a strict policy not to let anyone trash-talk his friends, not even their mothers. Standing up for sexy, headstrong Jade comes naturally—but so does the bone-deep itch for her he’s always wanted to scratch. Giving in to attraction is one thing, but commitment is another. So why does it feel like together, love might take them to breathtaking heights?

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Bennett's delightful third Return to Haven contemporary (after Be with Me) features feisty Jade McKenzie, who left her seven-figure job in Atlanta to help revitalize the local airport in Haven, Ga., and sexy, brooding Cash Miller, a pilot who also runs a successful gym. Cash's cousins have found love with Jade's best friends, but Jade and Cash remain bickering annoyances to each other. When Cash flies Jade to a family wedding she'd rather not attend, skillfully handles an emergency landing, and agrees to be her date to the wedding, Jade acknowledges a long-simmering attraction to this man who would never garner her socialite mother's approval. Cash, meanwhile, realizing that Jade is not the elitist snob he considered her, defends her in confrontations with an ex-boyfriend and her hypercritical mother. While sparks fly after the family wedding, the two vow to keep their relationship just physical and hidden from their friends. Bennett builds both sexual and emotional tension between the lovers: as they share their private heartaches, trust and affection grows, too. Bennett's fans will enjoy seeing characters from her Monroes series make appearances in this capable and satisfying romance.
Customer Reviews
Nice ending to the series
This is the third in the return to Haven Series centering around friends Livie, Melanie and Jade. They were childhood friends who all moved back to their hometown, Haven Georgia. Livie and Melanie have already found their happily ever after. Jade left a high powered job and high society family, in Atlanta after being sexually harassed. She settled with her old company and is teaching yoga while trying to figure out her life. Cash Miller and Jade constantly push each other’s button. Both of them have a lot of issues that make them keep people at arms length. What starts as a secret fling becomes more, but will their pasts’ get in the way? I really loved Cash, he is a great character. In the first two books of the series, I had real problems with the female protagonists, not the case in this book. Jade is a great combination of tough, but wounded heroine. This is a nice ending to this series. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.
