The perfect summer escape?
Professional dog-walker Felicity Knight loves everything about New York…until her ex-husband starts working at her local vet clinic. She hasn’t seen Seth Carlyle in ten years, but one glimpse of him—too gorgeous, and still too good for her—and Fliss’s heart hurts like their whirlwind marriage ended yesterday. So when her grandmother in the Hamptons needs help for the summer, it seems the ideal way to escape her past.
Their relationship might have lasted only a few scorching months, but vet Seth knows Fliss—if she’s run away to the Hamptons, it’s because she still feels their connection and it terrifies her. He let her go once before, when he didn’t know any better, but not this summer! With the help of his adorable dog, Lulu, and a sprinkling of beachside magic, Seth is determined to make Fliss see that he’s never stopped loving her…
Sarah Morgan delights with more love and laughter in her acclaimed series From Manhattan with Love, which Publishers Weekly calls “engaging…[a] classic sweep-you-off-your-feet romantic experience.”

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Heartwarming and full of easy humor, Holiday in the Hamptons feels as relaxing as a beachside vacation. Felicity "Fliss" Knight has to leave Manhattan to take care of her grandmother—which means living next door to Seth Carlyle, the ex she hasn't seen in ten years. We love a second-chance love story, and Sarah Morgan gives enough weight to Seth and Fliss' dramatic history to make their reunion all the sweeter. Throw in misbehaving dogs and sassy octogenarians, and when we weren’t swooning over Fliss and Seth’s romance we were laughing out loud.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
The effects of emotional child abuse are at the heart of this flimsy second-chances love story, the fifth installment in Morgan's From Manhattan with Love contemporary series (after New York, Actually). When Felicity "Fliss" Knight, a rambunctious and emotionally closed-off professional dogwalker, gets a call that her grandmother is in the hospital, she hightails it to the Hamptons to take care of her. Fliss hopes to avoid an awkward encounter with her ex-husband, Seth Carlyle (whom she left after three months of marriage and hasn't seen in 10 years), but winds up practically living next door to him. Seth, a veterinarian, knows Fliss is closed off, but he's determined to finally break down her barriers and get answers he feels are long over-due. Fliss hides her emotions as a defense mechanism stemming from her father's emotional abuse of her as a child, but she's still undeniably attracted to the handsome, patient vet, and her feelings prove difficult to contain. Although initially understandable, readers will tire of Fliss's stoicism; it's not clear what Seth saw in her the first time or why he's interested in a do-over.

Holiday in the Hamptons
A heart warming- heart wrenching read! I love the Hamptons and was pulled into the story right away. I cried my way through the story as I became emotionally attached to the characters.
HOLIDAY IN THE HAMPTONS
A delightful read perfect for a lazy day on the beach! A short-lived whirlwind of a marriage when they were young left Felicity Knight and Seth Carlyle guarding their wounded hearts as they each went on with their own lives. Lack of communication doomed them before they even began. This is a sweet, yet somewhat frustrating reunion. Seth was easy to love, and Fliss was easy to sympathize with, but I still found myself wanting to shake some sense into her a couple of times.
A decade has passed since Fliss and Seth were married. They barely had time to blink before it was all over and they were living separate lives. Now she’s a professional dog walker, and he’s a veterinarian who is crossing her path again. Will they finally be able say the things they left unsaid and have a little peace from the end of their relationship? And when old feelings flare up, will they decide they were worth a second chance?
Escape your worries with a visit to the Hamptons
This is a fun second chance contemporary romance story. Fliss and Seth haven't seen each other for 10 years, when their brief marriage ended. They were young and inexperienced but neither has moved on. As they reconnect, they discover many things that they misunderstood about each other and their relationship. The story is fun and humorous, yet deals with some heavy things that have happened in their lives, past and present. I loved being along for the ride as sparks fly and their relationship rekindles. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
