"Holly Weird - 5th Grade Drama Tween" is a continuing series of books about an eccentric tween named Holly O'Neal. See, Holly has a dream. She wants to become a movie star. However, living in a small town, it makes her an easy target to be picked on by her peers, especially the girls, and the pretty girls at that. Still, Holly is proud of who she is and always seems to have the last laugh in every scenario. Written in metered poetry, each book sends a strong message against bullying, in what could be best described as a literary version of "Glee" meets "Ugly Betty."
