George M. Lamsa (1892 - 1975) was an Assyrian scholar and author. He was born in Mar Bishu in what is now the extreme east of Turkey. He was a native Aramaic speaker. Besides translating The Holy Bible from the Aramaic of the Peshitta, Lamsa authored over twenty books illuminating the original meaning of Scripture.

Very accurate
Great Bible to have
I purchased this Bible in print years ago and it has become my "go to" Bible. Came to iBooks looking for a digital version for my digital library. In my opinion..it's a "must have".

If you believe in Jesus, the comma could NOT come before “today” in Luke 23:43.
