He also crafts a satisfying mystery with just the right balance of humor, fast-paced dialogue, and well-executed action pieces. This long-running series remains as fresh as ever.

Read It Despite It’s Cheesy Title
Every time a new Andy Carpenter book arrives, I am certain I’m not going to like it, Andy takes dog on a walk, Andy doesn’t want a new case, but the big hearted schmuck does it anyway. Sam hacks, Laurie stays sane, Marcus is Marcus and a new dog is involved. But, every single time I get hooked into the story, hope Marcus saves Andy, that Andy wins his case, the good guy goes free and all is happy in Andy Land. And I love dogs. I love ‘em.
