Beautiful second chance story
I completely fell in love with this second chance Christmas story! Individually, these two authors have written some of my favorite books, but together they’ve created a couple that I know will be hard to forget.
I loved Peighton’s spunk, even as she’s recovering from injuries received in an accident, and dealing with her first love, Morgan, who walked away from her years before. Morgan definitely knows he was in the wrong, and is taking this opportunity to win back this woman of his heart. These characters had me in the palm of their hands from chapter one.
But I’m embarrassed to admit how long it took me to figure out who Peighton’s manager/agent was! Total face palm! Fans of Burgoa’s books will love this little Easter egg, but new fans will simply love to hate him!
This book is on top of my recommendation list of great holiday reads of the year!
