Homemade Theatre's Pieces of Radio

Harley Snitch’s premier theatre troupe, Homemade Theatre has performed for diverse audiences from Spanish Fork, Utah, to American Fork, Utah.  (Snitch’s secondary theatre group, The Dancing Fish of the Emperor of Angst have performed for day-trippers at Tibble Fork Reservoir, Utah.)

The troupe’s ouvre includes such pieces as Shakuntala Reductia and A Horrible Secret Revealed in the Third Act That Explains Why Everyone Has Been So Pissy the Whole Play.

For many years, Homemade Theatre performed short pieces that were supposed to be funny on Wisconsin Public Radio’s Higher Ground with Jonathan Overby.  The critics say that Homemade Theatre is the reason that Higher Ground is now a music show, but, in HT’s defense, at least one anonymous patron of the show characterized Homemade Theatre as “f***ing funny”.

Rather than try to figure out all that that gerund might imply, HT takes the comment as a compliment.

Many of the pieces that don’t embarrass Homemade Theatre and won’t result in a lawsuit are to be found in Pieces of Radio, an anthology that, for reasons unknown, seems to be popular in Britain.
