Hong Kong 1992 - 1996

Hong Kong is a city on speed. All lights and action, making almost all other cities seem slow in comparison. Its magnificent harbour is always busy; ancient junks graze huge containter ships; the British Navy is anchored in the harbour.


Hong Kong hums. It is money and more money, and was founded on the dubious profits of the opium trade. Dubious profits are still made by the triad gangs.


It is a city of six million people crammed into a tiny space. Ruled at the moment by the British but soon the Red Army will march in and perhaps the place will change for eve
