Emma lives a very self-destructive life, barely making her way through college. Her world is turned upside down after meeting Mr. Honor, her new history teacher whose idea of discipline may be a little too much for Emma to handle. While trying to figure out their new relationship, they also have to deal with the very real possibility that someone has discovered their secret and is trying to hurt them. But Mr. Honor is keeping a few secrets of his own from Emma.
Good concept, but rushed
It was a great story line, but everything was really rushed. I feel like the chapters could have been longer with more detail. Everything happens in the first 2 chapters. There was no room for anticipation at all. I felt like I could put this book down for days without caring to read more. I hate to read a book that does not grip me with anticipation to keep reading just so that I can find out what happens next. I feel that by next week I will completely forget about this series. I really hope the next book does not disappoint me.
