New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Jay Crownover returns with her most complicated hero yet, in the first book in the romantic suspense series The Breaking Point.
Don’t be fooled.
Don’t make excuses for me.
I am not a good man.
I’ve seen things no one should, done things no one should talk about. Honor and conscience have no place in my life. But I’ve fought and I’ve survived. I’ve had to.
The first time I saw her dancing on that seedy stage in that second rate club, I felt my heart pulse for the first time. Keelyn Foster was too young, too vibrant for this place, and I knew in an instant that I would make her mine. But first I had to climb my way to the top. I had to have something more to offer her.
I’m here now, money is no object and I have no equal. Except for her. She's disappeared. But don’t worry, I will find her and claim her. She will be mine.
Like I said, don’t be fooled. I am not the devil in disguise... I’m the one standing front and center.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Set in a gritty, fictional inner-city neighborhood called The Point, Jay Crownover’s first Breaking Point novel is perfect for anyone who likes their romance with a side of danger. Nassir Gates rules his criminal underworld with an iron fist; his only weakness is Key Foster, a femme fatale (and former exotic dancer) who dares stand up to him. Nassir and Key are business partners with a blistering attraction to each other, but their position as king and queen of a crime empire is precarious at best. Dark and decadent, Honor stands out from the romance crowd with its villainous hero and a heroine who embraces her sexual allure.

I really didn't know what to expect with book, but it was awesome! Kept me on my toe's the whole time. I loved how the true bad boy really did have a heart! And the girl held her own with her independence and being a spit fire! Loved how she was able to show Nassir that there was good underneath all the bad. And that Nassir showed Keelyn that she could not live without him. I highly recommend thus book!
Sexy, powerful, & little dark
Wow! Another great novel from Jay. I think Nassir is my new favorite man of her books and he's not my usual type. You're drawn in from the beginning with Nassir & Key. I love how Key finally gives in and sees that she needs to stop running and when she does.....surprise you get the most powerful man in Point. These two are the perfect compliment to each other; she's his soft side & he's her rough/dark side. With all the ups and downs they manage to prove to others why they work. In the end Nassir is a real boy! And Key isn't just a pretty face; she'll always be at his side....and if needed step in to run things. Awesome work Jay couldn't put it down!! Can't wait for your next one.
👎🏻 Big Time!
I majorly disliked the plot, and the characters were awful. Every part of this book was simply terrible!
