Honore de Balzac, His Life and Writings

A decent introduction to Balzac but because there is little historical evidence of his character and lifestyle, then the book is a little thin on facts. However, it does show up his obsession with making money and his inability to organize his life spending recklessly any money he did make and attempting to do too many things all at once, subsequently all the hard work probably killed him. However there is no denying that his work speaks volumes.
