Hook by Elisabeth Grace is the first book in her Duplicity Duet. It has a cliffhanger ending so consider yourself forewarned. Book two, Burn will be out June 2016 so not too long to wait.
Told from the POV of Emily AKA Brandi, this is the story of a call-girl in Vegas. Sounds simple right? Well... she is a single mother of a special needs child who chose this profession to be able to provide the care her son needs. She falls for her latest client, Marco Valenti, and their story becomes more than a job, they both develop feelings for each other. When Marco's past rears up and puts not just Emily in danger but her son too... well, things get complicated!
A powerful story with a surprising amount of humor interjected throughout. It broaches some uncomfortable issues with ease and was yet another wonderful read from an author I already consider a must-read.
