Hope Relinquished

Fourteen-year-old Nikki Robinson is shocked and terrified when she sees the positive pregnancy test. An immigrant to Canada from the West Indies, all she wanted was to fit in and feel like she belonged at her new school, but her desperate attempts to be accepted ended up in a date rape that left her feeling ashamed and even more alone.

Forced by her mom to place her baby boy for adoption, Nikki begins the long journey of grieving and healing, but she never forgets her precious child. Through marriage, widowhood, and remarriage, Nikki begins to see the faithful hand of God on her life, and when she submits herself to Him entirely, she experiences blessings she couldn’t imagine!

An inspiring and moving story, Hope Relinquished will touch hearts and draw them to the only secure source of hope—the Lord Jesus Christ.
