Very good story great pacing great rnding
From the moment the book opened with 16-year-old Hannah Sheraton being processed into the women's prison, I was hooked.
Josie Bates had defended and got another client off and then that woman killed her two kids...that shattered Josie’s confidence and she was now working at a small law firm.....
When Hannah's mother begs her old college roommate, Josie Bates, to defend her daughter, Josie is caught up in a complicated legal situation. Was this a simple case of a rebellious teenager acting out or was there an underlying reason for the girl's obsessive compulsive actions? These are the issues that Josie must uncover if she is to mount a credible defense for Hannah.
This is an excellent fast paced twisted book. You never know what is going to happen next.
Loved it & will definitely read more from this author!
I am always looking for new mystery series to read, and this was a great discovery. (I found it more mystery than thriller, similar to John Sanford books.) It was fast paced and I couldn’t put it down! I will definitely ready the rest of this series.
