A single dad, nanny needed, friends to lovers, military protector romance from New York Times Bestselling Author Lynn Raye Harris.
For elite soldier Noah Cross, everything is easy. Hell, that’s his call sign. Easy.
But when he inherits a two-year-old baby girl, nothing is easy anymore. He can’t care for a toddler while going on dangerous missions to protect his country - and quitting isn’t an option for a man who lives and breathes the military.
What Easy needs is a nanny. And he knows just who to ask.
Waitress Jenna Lane’s luck is running out. She witnessed something she shouldn’t, and she’s been running since. She keeps moving, keeps working odd jobs and trying to survive.
After she’s fired from her current job, her situation is desperate. Until the man she’s secretly drawn to offers her a lifeline. She can’t say no, even if saying yes puts him and his little girl at risk.
But as the feelings between them grow, Jenna knows she needs the courage to tell Noah the truth. Before a killer strikes again….

Ready made family
Easy and Jenna's story is a single dad (uncle) and nanny story. Little Alice coming to live with Easy and Jenna becoming her nanny opens up memories for Easy that he would rather not revisit. And Jenna is keeping a huge secret. Will they be able to open up to each other about what they are running from or will Jenna leave Easy and Alice hanging for a nanny with no idea why?
True to HOT form, we have Strike Team 2 who band together when one of their own is in trouble. Including the women of HOT. I'm still not sure how they got away with some of the things they did without talking to Ghost or Viper and without reprimand. I mean, are they slipping in their old age? It seems like both of them have softened when it comes to the guys and their families.
A+++++++! Absolutely wonderful book. I couldn’t put it down. Funny and scary and sweet and great characters. Love Jenna and Noah and their funny little jabs and Aunt Maggie and Alice! Perfect HEA.
Courage, love, life
I have read all of the series Lynn has put out and I never get tired of them! Keep them coming Lynn. I look forward to each book.
