Publisher Description

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire...

Since 9/11, Brooklyn firefighter Griff Muir has wrestled with impossible feelings for his best friend and partner at Ladder 181, Dante Anastagio. Unfortunately, Dante is strictly a ladies’ man, and the FDNY isn’t exactly gay-friendly. For ten years, Griff has hidden his heart in a half-life of public heroics and private anguish.

Griff’s caution and Dante’s cockiness make them an unbeatable team. To protect his buddy, there’s nothing Griff wouldn’t do… until a nearly bankrupt Dante proposes the worst possible solution: HotHead.com, a gay porn website where uniformed hunks get down and dirty. And Dante wants them to appear there—together. Griff may have to guard his heart and live out his darkest fantasies on camera. Can he rescue the man he loves without wrecking their careers, their families, or their friendship?

Hot Head

A character from the book, Alek, said it best:

“It is that bright heat between you, you see. Not just the flesh, but the feeling. The rest of us are drawn to it like pitiful moths.”

This story—its romance, its people feel real and I was rooting for the lovely couple the whole time. This struggle is so real, and I’m happy to finally receive a PERFECT, happy ending to this.

This story has returned hope and love to me that I’ve lost during my own similar experience.

I do hope Damon Suede continues to write stories —I’d even be so selfish to request this story be rewritten from Dante’s point of view.

I hope to see this story continue in the future.

Heartfelt & Freak'n Hot!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! A lot of the M/M books that I've read so far seem more focused on getting right to the sex and a lot less on the relationship between the two men. Which I find can tend to leave one feeling unfulfilled in more ways then one. That's not the case with this book. Truly some great writing. If you're on the fence about reading this book, don't be! You won't regret it.
