The instant attraction dimmed a bit in this continuation of The Hot Zone series. Luckily they find their way back to each other later in the book and the excitement builds again. Fun characters with lots of family drama, work overload and funny antics of the cast around them keep us entertained and wanting more.

Professional baseball player John Roper was at the peak of his career a few short months ago, and then he hit a slump … and it went from bad to worse. He’s trying to rebound in the off season to come back fighting hard when the season starts, but his family is driving him crazy. He can’t take care of his body’s needs to heal and train if he can’t get a minute to himself.

Amy Stone has taken a job with her Uncle Spencer’s company and is now living in NY and working at The Hot Zone. She and John have a little chemistry explosion the second they lay eyes on each other and when they end up working together, they have to recommit to getting to know each other and forging a working relationship. Can she manage to wrangle his family for him and get him concentrating on himself and his comeback before it’s too late?

This is the 4th book in the Hot Zone series but it can be read stand alone.

In this book we finally get to see who John Roper, center fielder for the New York Renegades, and Micki Jordan's best friend will end up with. In Hot Item we met Amy Stone. She is Spencer Atkins niece. Amy and John seemed to be hitting it off good at Sophie and Riley's wedding until John's date intruded. Amy deciding she needed a big change in her life decides to move to New York and be a PR agent for the Hot Zone.

As Amy is settling in she is finally given her first client....John Roper! John is coming off of crappy World Series game where he was also injured but instead of concentrating on himself getting better, he is being pulled in many directions by his own family. After John is shocked to see Amy in New York, Amy explains to him that he needs to stop caving in to his family and start working on himself. At the same time John wants to work on Amy! ;)

When John doesn't tell his family that he can't be in the middle of every issue they have, Amy takes drastic measures and kidnaps John away to Brandon Vaughn's lodge in upstate New York without letting his family know where they are. I loved how Amy got rid of John's phone...priceless!

As the two of them are at the lodge, that's when the fireworks finally explode. Amy is used to being the good girl and has to work hard to curb her wild tendencies. John tends to go with the flow and just have fun. Together they balance each other out very well. I just adored the things John would do with Amy. These two really meshed well together.

Add in both of their crazy families....Amy's mom was once arrested for indecent exposure along with her aunt, while John's mom is a famous actress who is past her prime but still acts like she isn't, his sister who is trying to plan a small wedding which her mom keeps trying to change and then his brother who would rather just get money from John instead of growing up and being an adult.

Overall this was a fun story that had me laughing out loud at times along with swooning at others. Great characters and a great story!

Hot Property is another winner in the Hot Zone series. Since each of the Jordan sisters have each found their happily ever afters, it was time for another Hot Zone member to find happiness. We finally get John Roper's story and it was totally worth the wait.

I loved that Spencer's niece Amy Stone came to work at Hot Zone. I loved meeting her in Hot Item and was happy we got to know more about her in Hot Property. The fact that Amy and Roper were thrown together from the moment Amy arrived at Hot Zone made my heart sing. I knew John Roper needed a strong woman in his life. Not only because he was a celebrity baseball player, but he needed someone to help him deal with is family. Amy has had years of practice dealing with difficult family members thanks to her mom and aunt, who tend to get into all sort of scrapes. They are one of the main reasons Amy wanted to move away to New York. I loved that while Amy could see how John needed to deal with his family, she was totally blind to dealing with her own family until John pointed it out to her.

John and Amy had the absolute best chemistry. I seriously loved they actually were friends before they became lovers. I felt like it made their relationship stronger overall, not that there weren't some stumbling blocks on both sides. However when they were together, they pretty much burned up the sheets. I also loved they both had to learn to handle their families and fight to make their relationship work.

Hot Property was a wonderful end to one of my favorite series ever from Carly Phillips. While I fully believe readers should read the entire series in order, I also feel strongly that with the Hot Zone series, each book reads well as a stand-alone story as well.

This is book four in the Hot Zone series and it features Amy Stone, new Hot Zone publicist and niece to Spencer Atkins and John Roper, baseball player. Uncle Yank is at it again! Trying to fix Amy's life just like he feels he's done for his nieces.

There was so much going on in this story. Even though Amy and John's family situations were similar, I think Amy's was less severe. I don't blame her for taking an extremely long time to come to her senses. Sometimes love isn't always enough.

Great series with AMAZING characters. Carly Phillips does it again!

Fun, wild, emotional and crazy romantic journey trying to balance career and family. This Last Hot Zone story does not disappoint, just as entertaining as the previous books. Loved it.

Loved John Roper when he first appeared in Hot Number and was so happy he got his own story in the series so we got to know him better. Amy Stone was so sweet in her appearance in Hot Item and I am so glad she was the focus of this last story she is just awesome in so many ways and real. Her experience with her own unusual family is what makes her perfect for helping John with his. The Perfect ending to a wonderful series.

I enjoyed reading Hot Property, the fourth book in Carly Phillips’ Hot Zone series, once again. I liked how Spencer’s niece, Amy Stone enters the fold, joining the Hot Zone for a PR position. Amy has the challenge of reeling in John Roper who plays for the NY Renegades. John is a much more complicated person than he lets on to others. Instead of rehabbing his injury he focuses on helping to solve the problems of his family. As Amy attempts to keep him in line and focused on recovery, John would rather work on exploring their chemistry.

I’m so glad that Ms. Phillips ended the series with John and Amy’s story since John has played a role in each of the previous Hot Zone books. I enjoyed this series when it first came out and enjoyed them again this time around. All four of the original books sit on my keeper shelf.

This book is not the sexy story as are Phillips’ more recent books, but still has those loveable characters that you want to cheer on, hoping for their happy ending. The characters were well written and authentic. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. I highly recommend this book to other readers.

Hot Property is the fourth book in the Hot Zone series. This is about Amy Stone and John Roper and of course, the ever meddling Uncle Yank…and Spencer Atkins who have now joined forces with the agency umbrella called Athletics Only and the PR firm called The Hot Zone.

Amy Stone is the newest publicist at the Hot Zone and the niece of Spencer Atkins. She moved to New York to get a new start and have a life of her own away from her mother and aunt in Florida. When she gets assigned to her first client it is John Roper, the man who hit on her at her cousin’s wedding (Riley and Sophie, book 3). Now she is overwhelmed at the attraction that come back when they meet again and she has to help with his PR, help him to recover from a serious baseball injury if he wants to play ball again and straighten out his family who drops every little thing in his lap….

John Roper, center fielder for the New York Renegades is recovering from a serious baseball injury and needs to concentrate on his rehab but…his family is pulling him in different directions so his time is spent putting out their fires and not doing what he needs in order to recover and get back to the one thing he loves the most…..baseball!

Will Amy be able to get John away from his family long enough to do the rehab needed to play ball again, round up his family and show them they can do things on their own and not always depend on John and keep her feelings from overtaking and having this first job go down the drain????

Romance along with catching up with all the characters in the other Hot Zone books….what a way to end this series! ! !
