Great Story
What a great story. I just love Tabatha Kiss’ books.
This story was interesting I know I have wondered many times what it would be like if you had a baby from a sperm bank and then one day met that sperm donor. Well this happens in this story.
WOW! a con-artist and a detective, how funny is that. Anna was a detective and was investigating a murder. Seems like the bodies were starting to build up and this cute guy by the name of Milo was looking very guilty.
I just loved the interaction between Anna and her daughter Charlotte. It truly was sweet and you could see how much she loved her daughter. Anna was a very strong woman and was doing her best to be the best single mom she could be. I can not imagine what it was like to put two and two together that Milo is Charlotte’s father. Yeah that had to be surprising to find out everything you thought you knew was now a lie.
All in all I think Milo was a great guy. Yeah he was a con-artist and yeah he was involved in the mafia but when push come to shove he was willing to do the right thing. It is funny how you never know how much you want something that you do not have. Milo never dreamed he would of ever met the child that was made with his sperm. Now that he has met her he longs to protect her and get to know her. How will Anna feel about this.
This is a sweet story and yes there is danger along the way but a story worth reading. Glad I got a chance to read it.
The Best!! I Loved It!
Hands down my favorite book by Tabatha. In all fairness, I say that about every new book she writes. Hot Sauce is absolutely without a doubt a must-read, one click story. It deserves ten stars.
I love Milo/Jake. He's hilarious, sarcastic, sweet, caring, and romantic. He cracked me up when I had tears strolling down my cheeks. His past isn't exactly clean, but he's a good guy and he's perfect for Anna.
Anna is a detective who is a bada** (Jake says so.) She's a single mom with the cutest daughter and the sister of Vincent (whom you should have/need to meet in Muffin Top). Jake and Anna's paths cross and you know it's fate. I love these two!
This story really has it all. I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I had a cheesy smile, I got angry, and cried happy tears. The suspense, the bad guys, the victories, how it all comes to together full circle is just plain perfect. Tabatha, thank you for this wonderful, fantastic love story in reverse.
Readers, do yourself a favor and pick this story up. I promise you will not regret it. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
