What do you do when the thing you've designed to keep you safe is the thing that turns against you? "House of Limbs" is an action-packed story of a monster like you've never imagined.

Jack just wants to spend the day job-hunting online and taking care of his young son Max, who's napping up in his room. Everything is going as well as can be expected when a noise in the house catches Jack's attention.

He keeps hearing strange sounds, but they're not coming from any particular room; they seem to be emanating from the house itself. And then he hears something that sounds an awful lot like his name.

"House of Limbs" is a 4000-word story about how easily life can be turned upside down in a blink, without warning, and from that moment on things can never go back to how they were.
