Witness the hatching of a hummingbird chick. Hover: Hummingbirds in the United States is an interactive, visual exploration of the nearby, but mostly hidden, world of hummingbirds. Hover: Hummingbirds in the United States

This was a work of passion for the authors. It is thorough, beautiful, informative, and captivating. Highly recommend.

Loved it!

This book is an easy and relaxing read. It's written such that a second or third grader could probably read it alone, but an adult would enjoy it just as much. I've always liked watching hummingbirds from my kitchen window, and now I know everything I could've ever wanted to know, and then some. The videos are remarkable. The baby bird chapter was hands down my family's favorite.

Enchanting for all ages!

Hover is a true gem. More than a book on hummingbirds…it’s alive! There is information for the beginner (I’m definitely pursuing this new hobby) but the technology also adds a dimension for advanced enthusiasts. The novelty and joy of this book are the videos, both in real time with sound and slow motion photography. You enter a world you would otherwise never see. Absolutely breathtaking! The mother bird feeding her chicks in the nest and the incredible acrobatics of these stunning little birds is captivating. This book is to enjoy and share with everyone!
