PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Pastor Robert Jeffress's book is aimed at the doubting Christian. Structuring his text around seven fundamental questions, the pastor considers how one can know God exists, how one can know the Bible is true, and how one can know that Christianity is the right religion. Jeffress's narration is crisp and clear. There's a jauntiness to his tone, which dissipates slightly when he begins talking about atheists. Proof of God's existence is clearly a personal and important topic to him and this comes across in his reading. His narration is very precise, perhaps because Jeffress wants to ensure every point is properly communicated. The downside to this approach, however, is that Jeffress often sounds as if he's reading lecture notes, and this ultimately makes his narration stiff and unpersuasive. A Worthy Book paperback.
