Cute Book but shorter than description

Cute interesting book, but I was shocked to discover that it has only 41 pages whereas the description mentions 312 pages!! Drawings and all in original oil and colored pencils, OK that takes a lot of efforts. But from the description I expected a book that would take my kid through reading more and more difficult material across 312pp! Cute short story about reading: that's sums it up.

My 5 year old loves it, and I do too

Got this for my 5 year old daughter and she loves it. She's listened/read through this book hundreds of times, as young children often do, and I don't mind hearing it. Parents you know what I mean: You know those books and movies that annoy you upon repetition and you just can't stand it anymore? This one isn't annoying repeated, and for that I say it was worth every cent spent on it.
