Customer Reviews
Ok
The book was definitely rushed and left me with uncertainties. Their love seemed forced and his issues seemed like they just disappeared when he married. His unresolved relationships with his brother and sisters were not properly addressed. And her surrender seemed too early. There just needed to be more of a spark like julianne and hawk had. Wallflowers don't typically just become fashion darlings during their what fourth season. It was a stretch but I would have liked a deeper portrayal of the characters.
Very hard to get through
No plot, no character development, no story. Could have been summarized in 10 pages.
Don't waste your money
This story seemed rushed, like it just wanted to get from one part to another, and lacked those details that really bring it all together. Even the ending was abrupt.
In addition, when reading a story about two people who marry because they are forced by circumstance, there needs to be chemistry between the two characters, a reason to root for them. This story had none of that.
All in all, this book is lacking in just about everything.
