I liked this book a lot. The writer has a gift for giving information in a very conversational way...very easy read. Ive recommended to many of my friends. Definitely worth trying the sample.
The writer offers an engaging style; however, the content was disappointing. Peddicord knew a lot about a few places, but the first 200 pages are a chronicle of her personal favorites. I am now well versed in the intricacies of retiring to Panama City, Ireland, Mexico, and Paris - none of are on my short list. Lots of generalities and anecdotal stories, but lacking the promise the book title and tag line suggests.
