Publisher Description
"Amber Lin knocked it out of the park with this book, and definitely secured a place on my auto-buy list...The characters were flawed and beautiful, both of them haunted and sometimes trapped by their past. They were able to find joy and even love with each other." - Fictional Candy
She's here for the summer...
Amy has a secret: no one's ever held her hand. She doesn't even know how to hug. Everyone thinks she's smart, but straight A's are way easier than making friends. Then she meets Dane, a golden-haired surfer whose easy charm and hot touch teach her what she longs to know.
He lives on the streets...
Dane lives for the salty breeze and a sweet wave, because that's all he has. He's been on the streets since he was fourteen. A drifter. Homeless. Then he meets Amy. Smart and accomplished, she's everything he's not. He wants to be the sort of man who deserves her.
Except that means facing down his past--and that past might very well swallow them both.
HOW TO SAY GOODBYE is an emotional full-length new adult romance novel with an HEA and no cliffhanger.
"I loved the progression of their relationship and how they both find peace, in their own life and with each other. This one will stick with me for a while." - Smexy Books

Incredible story--highly recommend!!
Such a good story! The characters are deep and full of personality. The story line is intense, but makes sense and the characters progress and handle everything in a way you (as the reader) accept and don't feel like screaming at the book. Amy is definitely a character I look up to and admire, her acceptance and understanding is admirable and the love between her and Dane feels real and enticing. Nothing bad to say about this book except that it ended and I realized it wasn't real! Highly recommend for NA readers!
Great book!!!
I loved every single page . Read the whole book in two days . I couldn't put it down . Loved it !!!!!!
This. Story. Is. Amazing!!!!
I've never read a book where the titles of the chapters capture my attention. But this entire story, start to finish, had me laughing, crying and looking ahead to the very next line.
This really is unlike any book I've ever read before and I look forward to reading many more books by Ms Lin.
