The easiest chess read for beginners!
I have numerous books on chess. Most are pretty difficult to read and require a level of understanding of chess notation and instant recognition of the chess board, noting multiple moves that you must process mentally. Very light on board images. Not this one! Simple to read, step by step images with explanations. Suggestions for beginners, intermediate and advanced players on openings, etc. Gambits listed with explanations. What an easy read! I loved it before realizing this was the Gotham Chess dude that I watch on YouTube. I’m sold.
Where are the links
I’m a little disappointed I was studying the beginning of the book and I got to the scholars mate part it says that the link is below for more detail on counter attack it but there’s no link, I bought the book but didn’t get all the content can someone help?
Get this book for beginners. Worth the money
I literally beat Chess.com bot Julia and Miguel 1800 and 1900 Elo after reading the first 2 chapters . I lost my habit to read but I started to like chess so I said let me get into this and actually read it because Levy is a good teacher ( my opinion) and I want to up my chess game, chess is beautiful. After I read the 2 chapters and did all the opening stuff on Chessly .com I beat Julia rated 1800 and after just 3-4 rounds I beat Miguel. I was playing Julia every other day and losing . You must read though and do the chessly stuff !
