Publisher Description
Survival comes with a cost.
When Elizabeth made it through her first full moon as a werewolf, she thought the worst was over, but it was just beginning.
Now that her fuse is shorter than ever, she's in constant danger of losing her temper and shifting. Trying to balance her new identity with her old life is proving harder by the minute. One wrong move could mean disaster for all of them.
If that wasn't bad enough, the werewolf that bit Elizabeth has started killing women who look just like her. And he seems to be getting closer to his real target every day.
Even though Abraham vowed to keep her safe, he can't protect her from everything. The killer is getting bolder every day, and Elizabeth's never been more vulnerable.
Can she let go of her old life and commit to Abraham and her new pack? Or will she be ripped away from the only man she's ever loved?
This book contains sexual themes and violence that is intended for audiences 18 and older.

Wolf series
This has been a good series as Elisabeth learns what life as a wolf would be like for her. The writing is well done and flows well. Elisabeth, however, grows into a very unlikable character now through this second book. Not sure how she will mature by the end, but she consistently runs and mistrusts Abraham. A couple issues each book would be realistic but even after so much truths are revealed by both of them, after she bonds with his sister after their bad relationship, she allows the same person to keep eroding things even though she knows her. It’s exhausting constantly reading her telling Abraham chapter after chapter in both books so far how she needs to go and it won’t work and it’s all a mistake. He is so patient and loving each and every time, never doing anything but be ‘alpha-ish’ with leading. Her resentment of that, of course, being alone and independent, makes sense. But the constant same issue, the supposed lying and deception, takes up so many pages that would make the books shorter if they weren’t so many! Nervous to buy the last book because I’m sure it won’t be much better.
