Human Resource Management in Virtual Organizations

HRM in Virtual Organizations is the first volume in this new series titled Research in Human Resources Management . As such, it is the first of a number of volumes in the series that, we hope, will examine important topics imaginatively and rigorously. The current volume is an extremely innovative look at a relatively new area that should grow and develop as researchers see the need for conceptually guided empirical studies that help to coordinate HR systems within the organizational structure. We hope this volume will help to guide and stimulate research in this area. In addition, we believe that this volume should also be of interest to practionners, consultants, and anyone concerned with the fusion of technology and HRM.
