Hungry
This book captured my interest from the first page. I so could relate to Susie and the loss of her grandmother as I lost mine when I was in fifth grade. My grandma lived with us and it was my first loss. My life changed forever on that rainy day-September 8th 1968. Loved the blessing bags idea and the grandmothers idea of having herself spread around. Loved the characters, especially Serge who I just wanted to hug and reassure him that he was lovable and valuable. So glad the book ended on a happy note. Can’t wait for Ms Glennon’s next novel.
