Nonstop Action
For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him. —2 Chronicles 30:9
This is my first book by this author. I have not read very many Amish romances in the past few years, but they were a favorite of mine growing up. The combination of romantic suspense plus Amish was too good to pass up. It was thoroughly intriguing.
This book was nonstop action and mystery right from the start. A widowed mother running and trying to protect her diabetic preschooler. Lies and criminals are adding up as a bounty hunter has to decide what to do. The Amish overtones are not very overt, but it is sprinkled throughout in pieces. I appreciated the heavy faith element, especially as one of our mains has strayed from the faith. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would definitely read from this author again.
I received an ARC of this book via #JustReadTours and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
