Con artist. Get-away driver. Thief.
Delilah makes her own way in a crooked world.
Desperate for money after a heist goes south, Delilah breaks into a rich man's home. But instead of cash and jewels, she discovers a severed head and a serial killer. When the killer threatens her chronically-ill daughter and her childhood sweetheart, Delilah must turn the hunter into the hunted in a dangerous game only one of them will survive.
A gripping wild ride! Had me from the first page right to the last.
For a criminal, I felt sorry for D. But she could hold her own , mostly. Can she do the right thing for her daughter and give up the grifter life?
Great great read.
