When Florida native Tilly Farnsworth gets a call from a Seattle lawyer that she has inherited her aunt’s Puget Sound cottage, she believes she will finally learn the secret as to why her mother and her only sister became estranged as young adults. But when Tilly arrives in the tiny village, she discovers it has secrets of its own.


In Hunting For Fossils, a string of mysteries binds an unusual mix of characters—Tilly Farnsworth, a 30-year-old Florida magazine writer, Lucy, a 62-year-old librarian, six teenagers, an English teacher and the ugliest cat on the West Coast. As they search for clues to the whereabouts of a missing person, the purpose of a hidden door and the identity of a body found in the woods, Tilly stumbles upon the answers to her own family mystery and the reason her parents left Seattle for Florida when she was born.
