NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER
For the first time, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson opens up about his amazing comeback—from tragic personal loss to thriving businessman and cable’s highest-paid executive—in this unique self-help guide, his first since his blockbuster New York Times bestseller The 50th Law.
In his early twenties Curtis Jackson, known as 50 Cent rose to the heights of fame and power in the cutthroat music business. A decade ago the multi-platinum selling rap artist decided to pivot. His ability to adapt to change was demonstrated when he became the executive producer and star of Power, a high-octane, gripping crime drama centered around a drug kingpin’s family. The series quickly became “appointment” television, leading to Jackson inking a four-year, $150 million contract with the Starz network—the most lucrative deal in premium cable history.
Now, in his most personal book, Jackson shakes up the self-help category with his unique, cutting-edge lessons and hard-earned advice on embracing change. Where The 50th Law tells readers “fear nothing and you shall succeed,” Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter builds on this message, combining it with Jackson’s street smarts and hard-learned corporate savvy to help readers successfully achieve their own comeback—and to learn to flow with the changes that disrupt their own lives.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Curtis Jackson is an expert on finding the courage to make big moves. As hip-hop star 50 Cent, Jackson topped the pop charts with hits like 2003’s “In da Club,” before making his mark as an executive producer and co-star of the acclaimed drama Power. In this insightful memoir, Jackson charts his path to success in candid detail, focusing on what we can learn from his choices as we strive toward our goals. After all, he points out, observing the actions of established stars like Dr. Dre and Eminem helped shape his own trajectory. Jackson stresses the importance of surrounding yourself with people you trust and turning your flaws into strengths (as a kid, he learned he was terrible at team sports, so he developed an interest in boxing and other solo endeavors). His straight-from-the-gut memoir is filled with honesty that resonates, especially when he outlines the key differences between the man Curtis Jackson and the persona of 50 Cent. Packed full of the media mogul’s most deeply personal thoughts, Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter left us inspired to work just as tirelessly and fearlessly to achieve our own dreams.

Best book I read in a while
I enjoyed the book most of the problems, and characteristics he was talking about I find myself doing. It taught me a new perspective in life and I’m going to apply it to my daily life.
Pretty good!
I’ve been reading A TON of ‘entrepreneurship books’ lately. “9 rules of a serial goal digger” sparked my fire, but “hustle harder, hustle smarter” by 50 really opened my eyes to how intelligent 50 is! Don’t let his trolling on instagram fool you, this guy knows how to hustle, and this book is A MUST read for entrepreneurs and hustlers. I HIGHLY reccomend this book!
💯
Great Book ! You probably won’t even see this review but this book is really great . Reading a book coming from someone like 50 cent is really eye opening . He gives you a back story on his life experiences in the streets up until the business man he is now. At the same time showing you his thought process and reason for everything he did . I can honestly say my perception on 50 has changed after reading this . I’d definitely recommend this book 💯🙏🏿👏🏿
