I Am A Submariner
I would like to say that reading this book took me right back to 1975 when I was going to sub school in Groton, Connecticut. I guess that saying "Things don't change" is true ! I was on Submarines from 1975 to 1981 and what Joe said about shipmates being family was so true. You, the Captain, the XO all the way down to the mess cooks were very close. The only thing I thought as bad about this book was that it was way to short ! I would have loved to read another 200
pages !
