I am Somebody, I am Someone, I am Self-Sufficient is a book aimed to reach those who struggle with self, addictions, habits, hurts, or hang ups. DeShon battled against himself and personal demons. He describes how he overcame and encourages people to seek God’s plan, purpose, and vision for their lives. “Don’t misunderstand me, no one would refer to my husband as an angel”  Those who know him well would validate I am Somebody, I am Someone , I am Self-Sufficient as an accurate documentation of a real person, dealing with real issues, experiencing victory over a troubled past.

DeShon Brown is the President of the I Am Ministries Foundation based in Sacramento, CA. He is a motivational speaker, certified life coach and personal trainer. He served as an addiction counselor at the New Life Center in Santa Cruz, CA.  He attended the University of California at Berkeley and graduated from Bethany College in 1997 in the Certification Program of Addiction Counseling(CPAC).
