I Believe In One God

In this book, I believe in God, the Pope himself both arouses and satisfies this aspiration! His exploration of the Nicene Creed enables us to rediscover the inexhaustible riches to which the “door of faith” grants us entry. So too, does it inspire us to be credible, joy-filled witness to the Risen Lord in today’s world, leading many others to cross the threshold of that same “door”, not least by our witness of charity. And the Holy Father’s presentation of the Christian Faith as “a life changing and life sustaining hope” will surely sustain us in our mission until we reach the end of faith’s journey – eternal life.

I very much welcome, then, the publication of I believe in God by St Pauls Publishing as part of its response to Pope Benedict’s invitation to celebrate the Year for Faith. However, this stimulating book is not just for the Year of Faith.
