Even though this book is written at a little lower reading level than any of my children; I had to buy it. The illustrations are so amazingly detailed it draws you back to it again and again looking for details missed the first few times of reading it!

I immediately fell in love with this book! What a precious story!—It brought back so many memories of my own childhood playing hide and seek. The illustrations brilliantly and lovingly bring such humor, imagination, life to the pages, down to the smallest detail. The almost-magical scenes and colors captivate my senses. Each of the characters are so sweet—their expressions and poses make me pause and smile. I couldn't help but read it twice in a row. And I can't wait to read it to the little ones in my life—they will surely fall in love with this book as well!

This is a great book to enjoy with your kids (or in my case nieces and nephews)! Follow along with a colorful cast of animal friends as they play a game of hide-and-seek outdoors, each moving in their own unique way. Beginner readers will have fun with the poetic style of the book, while those too young to read should be delighted in pointing out what their favorite animals are doing on each page. The illustrations are beautifully done, making me linger on each scene. Good for reading again and again.
