I Praise Him

This book contains poems about the goodness of God; His Mercy, His Agape Love, and His Grace. My prayer is that you read these poems and begin to think about the Lord and your own experiences.


Pearline Riley Seaton has been saved since the age of twelve. She was born and raised in Clarksdale, Mississippi with her father and mother, Elder George and Gussie Riley. She is the seventh child of eleven, (seven brothers, and three sisters). Her parents instilled in her the basic belief and scripture, Hebrews 12:14, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord...” Pearline attended Jackson State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Education. She also attended Governor’s State University, and received a Master of Arts in Urban Teacher Education with an Emphasis in Reading. Pearline is an educator to the fullest extent. Aside from teaching Sunday School for more than twenty years, she was an Elementary Teacher in Chicago Public Schools for 34 years.
