The Gentileschi Sisters are daughters of a king, princesses who come to the U.S. to pursue their careers and fall in love with seemingly unsuitable men.
Ravenna Marcello Gentileschi can’t be in love. She just can’t. She’s a die-hard rebel and he’s Mr. Straight Arrow. But when she books a show of her post-modern art work at the prestigious Parkers, a gallery that bears his family name, she’s forced to work with him and eventually, she her attraction to him can’t be denied.
In Blake Parker’s world, Ravenna Marcello is an aberration of nature. She’s as unsophisticated as they come, she dresses like a biker’s moll and she shows no respect for anything or anybody—including him. So what if he’s forced to work long hours with her setting up her show? So what if she helps students in her art therapy practice? So what if just a glance from her makes him hot under his starchy white collar? The thought of falling for such an inappropriate woman is untenable.
But fall in love they do and the question becomes, “Where do they go from here?” Readers will enjoy watching these two opposite people come together in both tender interactions and red hot sexual encounters that terrify them both.

Raven is the Gentileschi sister that I feel we knew the least about. Her story slowly revealed her true character and feelings. I love how Kathryn Shay actually tells Raven’s story through her paintings with the description of color and emotion. And then there is the angsty Blake Parker, who is the curator where her art will be displayed. I really enjoyed this book. The epilogue really ties things together and I will miss reading about these sisters. The entire series of six books will provide a wonderful binge reading experience.
