The head chef for the G-7 meeting at a luxury resort in the Scottish Highlands dies in the middle of a television interview. All fingers point to former Secret Service agent turned owner of Cooks Network, Kate Stark. At the same instant, a sugar sculpture chef dies horribly on-air in her New York studio. Her failure to protect the Vice President-elect during her years as a protection detail agent does not improve her standing. 

The FBI, the British Diplomatic Protection Group, a world-class Black Hat hacker, and an old friend from the US Secret Service all target her as Suspect Number One. Is it personal? Or is this a far more dangerous attack, perhaps targeting the Presidency?

Kate’s ragtag team of rugged individualists must pull together once more if she wants to survive.
