Ice Rock

Germany, 1931.  Karsten Wesel, a U-boat man in the Great War, is keeping himself alive by washing dishes in a small Hamburg restaurant.  But when his old commander comes to call, Wesel is suddenly transported back to the world of undersea conflict – fighting this time for himself.

Safe from detection at a remote Arctic base, possessed of a super-submarine, the Sea Spider, and tightly disciplined under their Promethean captain, Reinhard von Saldern, Wesel and his comrades wage war against the world – until the emptiness they sought to fill engulfs them, at Ice Rock.
