iCoN: Transforming Nursing Education with Technology
Publisher Description
Technology continues to impact health care, and it is important for nurses, often the first point of contact for patients, to be competent in the latest technologies to ensure the safest care and best outcomes. At the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing, we believe being a nurse leader is being open to change and innovation. This is one of the reasons we implemented iPad technology — to reengineer how students learn, interact and collaborate. Since implementing the iCoN initiative, the college has pushed the boundaries of the traditional classroom model to take nursing education and research to new heights, prepare leaders who provide the best care possible to all patients and create what’s next.
